It all began on a day in March of 1978. My mother was recuperating from a major heart attack. I was recuperating from an auto accident. Both of us couldn't do much of anything. We started to learn counted cross stitching, which wasn't hard to do as we both were avid crafters most of our lives.

Mom had studied to be a Home Economics Teacher, and I was taught at a very early age to embroider, crochet, and knit.

Bows Bits and Stitches is a cross stitch shop that carries hundredss of items the cross stitcher needs. If it is not in stock, we special order it. We have Counted Cross Stitch supplies, Hardanger, Silk Ribbon, Embroidery, Specialty Threads, Embellishements, Buttons, Tools, Lap Frames and Floor Stands, Lights of all kinds, Accessories, all kinds of Fabric, Waste Canvas, Overdyes, and hundreds of Charts and Books.

If there is a class you wish to take, please call us for more information. We don't charge to teach; just supplies are priced.

We do Custom Archival Framing...reasonably.
